Who Gets a Free Eye Test

\• Under 16
\• 16-18 in full-time education
\• 60 or over
\• Diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
\• At risk of glaucoma (close relative diagnosed)
\• Registered blind or partially sighted
\• On Income Support, JSA, ESA, Universal Credit, Pension Credit
\• Named on a valid HC2/HC3 certificate
\• Prisoner on leave

If you qualify for a free test, you also get an NHS optical voucher worth £39.10–£215.50 towards glasses or contact lenses, depending on your prescription.
